Good evening, everyone!
You will see recipes appearing regularly - most of them are copied from the old blog and updated - and they will appear as a link in the Recipe Links page, tab at the top.
I've already found some broken links so it needed updating anyway.

And while we are talking about links, Eileen has found that the links in the pages are not working properly for her.  Please could a few of you check them and let me know if they are OK for you - they're working fine for me, taking me to the right place.
Thank you in advance.
What I ate today:

A big old breakfast, perfect on a frosty morning after an online Groove class.
Warming and filling.
The sausage was four swips and the brown sauce was one.  Some spray oil was half of a healthy oils choice.

The very last of that can of baked beans and the very last segment of the Spanish tortilla.  I fancied some roasted parsnips with them and, weird as it sounds, it was a nice meal.
The freezer bag said 2/3 calcium choice for cheese and I use the other half of the healthy fats to roast the parsnips.

Later on, I had an apple.

Dinner was my usual pasta - I softened onion, yellow pepper and mushroom, added chopped tomatoes (garden toms from the freezer which was nice), added chicken stock and tomato puree and bubbled it until the sauce thickened a bit, then added chicken bits and cooked penne.  Seasonings were garlic, dried chilli, salt and pepper.
I sprinkled cheddar on top and it was lovely.

Dessert was banana 'ice cream'.  Chunks of frozen banana and some kefir (could use yogurt) blended together into a smooth, semi-frozen texture.  You could add anything you like to this.  Some choc chips would be nice!

The cheese was one calcium, the kefir was one swip and the rest was SW free

Summary:
Healthy extras:  nearly two calcium choices, no fibre and one fats/oils
Six swips
(I don't swip blended fruit)

Tomorrow's meal plans:

B:  shakshuka with onion, tomatoes, mushrooms and pepper and an egg on top

L:  roast chicken dinner - chicken, roasties, roasted parsnips, carrots and onions, sprouts and broccoli

D:  toastie and salad

Fruit

No planned exercise

  2. That looks like a lovely day’s eating on a cold day! Links in the posts are working fine for me, i can’t access the recipe tabs as they require a google sign in (which I guess I could create, so not an issue, just letting you know!). Have a good day, Melanie
