Good evening, everyone.
Sorry about the pages, links, etc. I have no idea why they are not working for you as they work fine for me. I've taken them off line for now so, if you like a recipe, please feel free to print or copy, paste and save when it appears.
If you tried them, please can you let me know what the issue was - was it actually getting into the pages or was it an issue with the links to recipes within each page?
I'll have another go tomorrow . . . wish me luck!
Thanks.

What I ate today:
'Breakfast' was nice - shakshuka made with tomatoes, onion, pepper and mushroom with an egg on top. I used spray oil so this was swip free.
However, I had got busy in the kitchen and totally forgot about breakfast until around twelve so I changed my plans, had this as an early lunch, had the roast at dinner time and scrapped the toastie.

Later on I had an apple and an orange and later on a few baby beets - odd, I know, I just needed something that tickled my tastebuds! :-)
I'm having a lot of roast dinners at the moment because . . . leftovers! I piled the plate (bowl, actually) with vegetables - sprouts, cabbage, broccoli, carrots and parsnips and decided not to bother with roasties.
Half a healthy fats choice for some spray oil for roasting the carrots and parsnips and one and a half swips for some cranberry sauce.

Afterwards, I made some blackberry yogurt ide.
It was all absolutely lovely.
Summary:
Healthy extras: no fibre or calcium, half a fats. Not great but it is what it is.
One and a half swips
Tomorrow's plans:
B: waffles with fruit and yogurt
A bit out of line as these waffles are the rest of what I made Christmas Day so not really SW and I have no idea of swips, etc - but I want to use them up. If I keep the rest of the day really low swip, it should be OK.
L: bacon and butterbean soup
I got a link in my mailbox to a new Pinch of Nom recipe, bacon and butterbean soup. I had all the ingredients so I made some today to have tomorrow for lunch

D: jacket potato, bean chilli and veg - I have the cooked potato and the bean chilli in the freezer so this will be so easy!
And fruit
Exercise is a circuits class.
I thought I would do a bit about the changes to SW over this week for anyone who likes the plan but doesn't have access to the app/site.
The first thing to say is that it is not a 'new' plans. It's the same plan, the same structure, with some changes in organisation and wording.

I'll start with the easiest change.
Wording.
Syns are now SWIPS - Slimming World Individual Picks. Maybe a bit silly but not misleading like 'syns' which gave totally the wrong impression.
Body Magic is now called Slimming World's Active Lifestyle Programme. So much better; it says what it is and isn't twee! The men in the group hated saying they were doing 'body magic' - I wasn't so keen either!!
Healthy extras are no longer As and Bs, the are calcium, fibre and the new one, healthy fats choices. Again, much clearer.
I think that's all but they are fairly major changes

I often have a (very) late breakfast and no lunch and I seem to be able to last until evening for another meal. I guess your early apple could be classed as breakfast!
ReplyDeleteYes, probably, although I see something like that as more of a snack.
DeleteI think I am in the habit of eating something at around four thirty ish so my mind expects it. One to work on, maybe.
Have a lovely day, Chris. xx
On your blog you have Home, Recipe Links and Useful Recipe Sites. When I click on either Recipe Links or Useful Recipe Sites it takes me to my own dashboard with the 'Pages' option open, so I can see the list of all the pages I have. It doesn't take me to a view of your recipe links or useful sites on your webpage. I think the issue may be that you have only linked to your top level 'Pages' option and bot to the actual page that contains the list of recipes or useful sites. I hope that makes sense. xx
ReplyDeleteI'm not quite sure what you mean but I googled step by step instructions and will have another go, thanks so much, Eileen. I think it might be something to do with gadgets Thanks for confirming that it is the pages rather than the links within each page.
DeleteI'll work it out, I am sure . . . xx
I think maybe I didn't click a 'save' in Layout . . . I've tried again . . . xx
