 Evening.
It was half a pound on this week - I think I got away lightly, to be honest.

This coming week is going to be difficult.  I'm out on a coach trip tomorrow and then, Monday to Wednesday, I'm away with my daughter, staying in a hotel so it will be meals out (or in their own dining facilities).

I mentioned this at Group this morning and people were so very helpful in suggesting strategies.  I KNOW what to do, it's the doing of it that is the difficulty!

So I won't post tomorrow evening but to a weekend one on Sunday evening and I may or may not post from Monday to Wednesday.  I will definitely be back on Thursday.

And finally, before I go on to today's food, I won the raffle at group and got a butternut squash, an onion, a red pepper and a bag of red lentils with a nice long shelf life (just as well because I already have more than half a jar full in the cupboard.
I think it is for making roasted red pepper and butternut squash soup - I may or may not make that, I think I will Google and see what comes up.

It was a taster session at group today - I forgot when I planned today's meals.
At Group I had plenty of fresh fruit, some pasta type mixture, some weetabix cake (a SW recipe) and one small piece of other cake.
Half a fibre for the weetabix loaf (approximately - the pieces were very tiny) and I am estimating four swips for the other cake - it was very tiny too and I deserve a halo shine for only having one piece.!

So I changed lunch plans.  I had some chicken stock to use up so I added lentils and roasted red pepper plus base mix and seasonings Plus milk while reheating it to make a very substantial and filling soup that had one swip (or part of a calcium) The fruit was afters.

And I changed dinner because I fancied chicken more than fish.  The salady bits were mostly leftovers from the taster session that someone wrapped and gave to me - I'm sure I don't look that hungry!!

Anyway, what I did was I thawed out half of a large chicken breast fillet, sliced it, sprinkled over some seasoning and dry fried the slices.  Then I made up a simple Welsh rarebit mix with cheese, a tiny splash of milk and some Dijon mustard, spread it over the chicken and popped it under the grill to cook/down.  So good!
The chips were not so good.  I decided to try some 'jacket potatoes' from Oddbox although I'm a Maris Piper girl really (or King Edwards).  They cooked OK but they didn't go crispy, they went soggy.Never mind.
Afters was a banana.
All swip free.

Summary:
Healthy extras:  one of each
Five swips.

I'm very unsure.
I'm taking fruit on the coach, I'll be having lunch with two friends and I will make a quick lasagne for dinner (must remember to get out what I need in the morning).
And plenty of walking.
