    1. I'm glad I'm not the only one. I do have some fruit before my 9:15 fitness classes, usually banana or apple. xx

  2. You mentioning salad cream often reminded me how much I like it, although haven't bought it for a couple of years. So now I have! Thanks Joy xx

    1. I really do love salad cream - I get the 70% less fat one. It's less cloying than mayo and it's one of my few UPF non-negotiables!! :-)
      Good for you, Sooze. xx

  3. Joy I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate this blog. At the start of 2026 I wanted to make more of an effort with my food and to eat healthy. Your blog has been such a help, giving me ideas and with a bit of effort (cooking has never been my thing but eating has!) I have had tasty meals, my tummy appreciates it too! I don’t need to lose weight but recovering from major surgery I realised I needed to change my eating habits. So thank you Joy. Kindest regards June

    1. Aw, that is such a lovely thing to say, thanks, June. I am really glad my waffling is helpful.

I hope your recovery has gone well.
