Wednesday, 11-03-26

I try not to snack on anything but fruit or veg but I had some thin sliced potato left from yesterday so decided to try making crisps.
It worked.  Costing part of a healthy oil (one tsp avo oil), it took 20 mins at 200C in the air fryer and they were, crunchy, tasty and satisfying.  And I knew exactly what they contained.
I'll do that again at some point, for sure.

Leftovers of corned beef hotpot for lunch with a big old salad.  Really delish.
Adters was a banana and a pear
Two and a half swips for the corned beef, one calcium for cheese and a bit of oil.

Later on I had an orange.
I used a large chicken breast fillet and a can of mixed beans, plus canned tomatoes and chopped veg to make a tasty chicken casserole.  Three portions are now in the freezer.
The rice mixture is a pouch from Aldi with wholegrain rice, quinoa, pumpkin and sunflower seeds, really tasty and well worth two and a half swips for half the pouch.
I used avo oil in this and, split into four, it topped up my healthy oil today.

Healthy extras:  one calcium and one oil

Plus fruit.
