A nice start to the day. Both the melon and the strawberries needed eating soon so I combined some of both of them and it was lovely.
SW free
I was planning to have a salad for lunch but this morning was dull, damp and not that warm so I changed my mind and made a tomato - roasted red pepper and red lentil soup.
I just threw some base mix, tomatoes, roasted red pepper from a jar, lentils, garlic, stock and tomato puree into Thermione, cooked it up for 20 mins, blended it and pushed it through a sieve. It was delicious.
Afters was an apple and an orange.
I had half of it for lunch and the rest later in the afternoon when I got a bit peckish.

All SW free and pretty low calorie which was good because . . .
. . . I had pizza for dinner. Now, Pizza and SW don't live comfortably side by side, not because there's anything inherently 'bad' about pizza, just that it is full of swippable stuff. I didn't look up the swips for this, I just checked the calories which was under 550 for the whole pizza, not just that bit (I ate the lot).

It was delicious - and so was the cucumber, the first picking from this year's plants.
I reckon with the pretty light other meals, I won't have gone anywhere near the red as far as daily calories are concerned.
And that was all for the day
B: fruit
L: avocado on toast with egg and tomatoes
D: feta and tomato pasta (I think it used to be called tik tok pasta), salad
And fruit

We've been using Aldi garlic naan bread as a pizza base. They're huge so we share one. Cover them with grated cheddar and some chopped cherry tomatoes. Five minutes in a hot oven to melt the cheese. Huge side salad fresh picked. Quick, tasty and dead cheap.
