Saturday, 18-07-26

Good evening, all, and I hope you've had a delicious day today.

I added an edit to yesterday to say I did have an extra nibble of cheese so the swips came to fourteen - much better!



I made carrot cake waffles (just added grated carrot and some cinnamon) and had them with a nectarine, the last of the blueberries from the garden and some yogurt

Half a healthy extra F




The rest of the turkey skewers with a big salad.
The white sauce was just yogurt and garlic puree - I thought it wouldn't be very nice but, in this context and with a splash of lemon juice, it worked.
Afters was a banana

One oil swip (I didn't have the roasties that I had yesterday so the oil is lower) and half a swip for salad dressing.

Later on, I had some toast and marmite because I fancied it.  Half an F.


Very beige looking, I know, but this chicken, lentil and chickpea curry was very tasty - and I got three good portions from it.
After taking the photo, I added some mixed seeds to make a complete O/F for today.

Summary:
Healthy extras:  one F and one O/F
Half a swip
So if I fancy something to nibble later, I can.



B:  French toast with fruit and yogurt

L:  next portion of yesterday's chicken and lentil traybake curry (the third is in the freezer now)

D:  the last SWK meal, sweet and sour chicken noodles - not sure about this one as SW Chinese dishes just miss the mark a bit for me - bit we will see.
