Monday, 09-02-26

 Evening again, everyone!



Morrisons' oranges are lovely at the moment.  Really sweet and juicy.  I enjoyed these two oranges for breakfast.
Swip free
Spicy beans on toast with added chicken.  So good.
One fibre and part of a healthy fats (avo oil).

Later in the afternoon, I had a banana and an options drink (three swips).


Orzo puttanesca for dinner.  It was OK but not one I will make again.

The rest of my healthy fats for olives and a bit of spray oil plus a calcium for cheese.

Afters was three easy peelers.

B:  bacon, what's left of the smoky beans and mushrooms

L:  cheese and chutney toastie

D:  I am at a school governors' conference early evening and I gather food will be provided.  I will take some prepared fruit with me, in case.  It says 'a hot buffet' which could be anything from lukewarm sausage rolls to mini jacket potatoes.

  1. Lots of vitamin C for you today, lovely. What would you do differently for the Orzo Puttanesca, or just not for you this time, do you think? Melanie

    1. I'm not sure - I think the spice mix wasn't right - a bit undercooked (I did follow the instructions) and I'd probably use a different pasta. It was a bit dry too so maybe use some chopped tomatoes.
      The olives and capers were nice though. xx
